About Me

Father of two, husband to one, master of none! After majoring in English (and minoring in Philosophy) at Florida State University to expressly avoid Computer Science, I promptly got a job working in computers! Today, I work as an ecommerce architect by day, and by night as a befuddled parent.

Now comfortably settled into middle age, my main hobbies involve sleeping on occasion and trying to go the whole day without yelling at someone.

After a prolonged sentence living in Florida, my wife and I escaped to San Francisco in 2010 to live blissfully eating garlic with every meal and hunting for beers on tap other than an IPA. After having our second child, we escaped San Francisco for Pittsburgh where we could afford things like garlic and beer.

After more than a decade of creating MS Visio diagrams that are barely decipherable, I’ve decided to try and work my atrophied writing muscles by writing blog posts that are somewhat decipherable. Please pardon the grammar and the Oxford commas.
